How We Started
J’odys was founded by a collective of California artisans who shared one simple conviction: families deserve sofas that look exceptional and stand up to real life. Drawing on decades of upholstery expertise and advanced lean-manufacturing methods, we built a factory that marries hands-on craftsmanship with precise production controls.
Craftsmanship & Expertise
Every piece begins with our master upholsterer, whose two decades of technical know-how guide the entire fabrication process. From hand-cutting patterns to double-stitching seams and tensioning springs, their trained eye ensures each sofa and loveseat meets the highest standards of comfort and longevity. Their leadership also mentors a new generation of apprentices, keeping traditional skills alive while embracing modern efficiencies.
